Counselling and psychotherapy offer you a safe environment to talk to someone in confidence, outside of your family, friends and your situation. It can help you come to terms with the things you cannot change, courage to change what you can and the insight to know the difference. A therapist can listen and encourage you to find the answers and make the choices you need to make; it is your journey.

I am a senior accredited counsellor and psychotherapist registered with UKRCP. Trained originally in Psychosynthesis, I have worked with groups and individuals since 1984. My practice is based in Glastonbury, where I offer short-term counselling, which focuses on a current issue, and long term therapy to explore more deeply the aspects of your life which may have contributed to your situation.

As a qualified supervisor and experienced group worker, I offer supervision and consultation to a range of professionals, as well as in-house training on various topics including: Self- esteem, Visualisation, Transition and Eco-psychology.

As co-founder of Sweet-Track Counselling I was for many years involved in creating and running accredited professional trainings. I have evolved a practical and integrative approach to my work.  I like to empower people to help themselves and try to offer practical self-help strategies, as well as drawing on the creative and spiritual perspectives embodied by Psychosynthesis.  I have worked in a variety of fields including addiction recovery and GP practice.

Special interests include: self-esteem, addiction, life changes, creativity and spirituality.

I am sustained by my creativity and love of nature and am the author of a self-help book: Breaking The Spell - The Key To Recovering Self-esteem and poetry collection: She Who Walks with Stones and Sings

You can arrange an initial session to discuss your issues and decide how we might work together.
